ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022, which will be held in Australia starting on October 16 and featuring 16 international teams and the top cricket players in the world, is only 50 days away. The T20 World Cup took to the air in Perth and Sydney today as supporters countdown to "The Big Time," travelling from one side of the nation to the other.

The best group of male cricket players from 16 different
countries will compete in the tournament. It consists of the Aaron
Finch-captained Australian team. He wants to claim the victory on their home
turf. This men's competition will be held in Australia for the first time as
well.

Finch added that this event is essential to safeguard Australia's prospects and accepted the challenge from the other 15 teams that would travel to Australia.In Geelong, where the 2014 champions Sri Lanka and Namibia will play in the T20 World Cup's opening game on October 16, a countdown clock and painting were also presented. After the T20 World Cup is over, the mural, which was painted by a local Sri Lankan artist, will continue to be shown at Kardinia Park Stadium.
Additional standing room tickets for the eagerly anticipated
India vs. Pakistan game at the MCG on Sunday, October 23, were already sold out
earlier this week.
The T20 World Cup is expected to draw over 800,000 fans,
with child tickets to all Super 12 games costing just $5 and adult tickets
beginning at $20.

The T20 World Cup, the game's fastest-growing format, is the
highest-caliber international competition.
The event was originally slated to take place in Australia
in 2020, however owing to COVID-19, it was postponed and rescheduled for 16
October to 13 November 2022. Adelaide's Adelaide Oval, Brisbane's The Gabba,
Geelong's Kardinia Park, Hobart's Bellerive Oval, Melbourne's MCG, Perth's
Perth Stadium, and Sydney's Sydney Olympic Stadium will all host games (SCG).
Australia will host the ICC Men's T20 World Cup for the
first time following the record-breaking women's tournament that took place in
February–March 2020. Australia defeated India in the final at the Melbourne Cricket
Ground in front of 86,174 fans, the second-highest attendance ever for a
women's sporting event worldwide and a record for women's sport in Australia.
After winning their first ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2021 by
defeating New Zealand in the championship match contested at Dubai
International Stadium, Australia will enter the eighth edition of the men's
competition as the defending champions.
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 will feature 45 matches
between 16 international sides, with the championship game taking place on
November 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
