OVER VIEW:
PAK INNG: First Pakistan lost the toss and india has their decided to bowl first, They had earlier dismissed Pakistan for 147 runs. The most effective bowler was Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who finished with 4 for 26 from his four overs. Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh each took 3 and 2 wickets. Pakistan had been asked to bat first and had a dismal start. Babar Azam, the captain, produced a few well-placed smashes that resulted in two fours but was out for just 10 in the third over. Fakhar Zaman also left the field before the powerplay was over after edging an Avesh Khan delivery behind the stumps. Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed then engaged in a 45-run stand. When Pandya removed Iftikhar for 28 he broke the tie. At 97 for 5, with two more wickets lost, including the experienced Rizwan, Pakistan was in trouble.
In the final few overs, Pakistan lost wickets at regular intervals and was reduced to 9 for 128. It appeared at that point that they would not even reach the 140-run threshold. However, Haris Rauf and Shahnawaz Dahani made crucial cameos to aid their team in scoring a total of over 145.
IND INNG: Hardik Pandya once again shone with both bat and ball, and his six off the fourth delivery of the final over gave India the victory, In a treat of a match between India and Pakistan, Hardik Pandya bowled and batted India to a spectacular victory. Fans were treated to a classic India-Pakistan match with a field that suited both teams' talented fast bowlers because the two proud teams haven't played a tight game in a few years. Along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya was India's star bowler and batsman. He first recorded scores of 3/25 before registering an unbeaten 33 off 17 balls. With a six off the fourth ball of the final over, he claimed victory. The Men in Blue were having a terrible time pursuing 148. KL Rahul was bowled for a duck by rookie Naseem Shah in the opening over. He nearly also got Virat Kohli's wicket in the same over, but Fakhar Zaman was unable to hold on to a difficult opportunity at second slip. While Kohli played some excellent strokes, Rohit Sharma struggled to time the ball. However, the pair was unable to bat India into a strong position.
When they all left, India was in trouble at 53 for 3 in the tenth over after they left in quick succession. Although Suryakumar Yadav and Ravindra were able to steady the ship, they were also unable to form a substantial partnership. By dismissing Suryakumar for 18, Naseem caused damage once more, bringing India to 89 for 4 in the 15th over. Prior to Jadeja's departure for 35, Pandya and Jadeja partnered up and exchanged 52 runs for the fifth wicket. Pandya, on the other hand, scored 33 runs off just 17 balls and was still undefeated.
Player of the Match Hardik Pandya Talks: It's crucial to analyse the circumstances and employ your weapons when bowling. My strengths have been bowling short and hard distances. Utilizing them effectively and posing the correct inquiries will cause the hitters to make a mistake. Plan ahead of time whenever you are in a chase like this. I have always known that there is a left-arm spinner and a young bowler. Even if we had required 15, I would have believed in myself even if we just needed 7 off the final over. In the 20th over, I am aware that the bowler is under greater pressure than I am. I attempt to maintain simplicity.
Captain’s Talks:
Rohit Sharma: We
were still confident that we could win the race even halfway through. These
things can happen when you hold the belief that we did. It's important to make
the men' roles clear so that they can do them effectively. It was a little
difficult, but I'll take victory like this over typical ones any day. Yes, they
(India's fast bowlers) have advanced significantly in the past year or so and
have shown excellent flexibility. Hardik has been excellent ever since he made
his comeback. He worked out what he needed to do to his body and his workout
routine while he wasn't on the squad, and now he clocks 140+ with ease. We all
recognise his excellent batting ability, which has continued since his
comeback. He is much more at ease and certain of what he wants to do, whether
it be with the ball or the bat. We saw today with those short balls that he can
bowl really swiftly. It was always just a matter of comprehending his style of
play, and he's doing it now. You can panic under pressure when 10 rpo are
required, but he never displayed any signs of it.
Babar Azam: We made a tremendous start (with the ball). We were lacking by 10 to 15 runs. Bowlers did a great job of making a match out of this. Our tail did increase slightly to add those helpful runs. The plan was to extend the game (and postpone Nawaz's final over). The intention was to apply pressure, but Hardik did a good job. Although Naseem is a fairly young bowler, he bowled quite well and shown tremendous aggression.
