Bangladesh vs Afghanistan:     At the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets on Tuesday thanks in large part to the unbroken 69 runs scored by Ibrahim Zadran and Najibullah Zadran off just 33 balls. Afghanistan reached the Super-4 stage by chasing down 128 runs in 18.3 overs. After 13 overs, they were in trouble at 62 for 3, but a partnership between Ibrahim and Najibullah Zadran changed the course of the match. Najibullah Zadran produced a thunderous 43 not out off 17 balls, 

while Ibrahim Zadran scored an undefeated 42 off 41 balls. Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman each took three wickets earlier as Afghanistan held Bangladesh to 127/7. Before Rashid Khan used it to further trouble Bangladesh, Mujeeb Ur Rahman set the tone for Afghanistan by striking three times. Notably, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan chose to bat first after winning the toss in the match.

Before Najibullah's aggressive 43 not out off 17 balls, consisting of six sixes, helped his team cross the finish line in 18.3 overs, Bangladesh stymied Afghanistan in the run chase.
